Unlike cassette awnings, the Markilux 1300 is an open system in which the fabric remains visible when the awning is retracted. Its 40 × 40 mm square steel support tube, galvanised inside and out, provides structural rigidity particularly suited to large formats. The result is a classic, solid, long-lasting awning that does not require the additional cost of a protective cassette.
