The Markilux 776 and the Markilux 876 are the reference vertical awnings in the Markilux catalogue for large surfaces, featuring counter-tension tensioning technology and the exclusive panoramic transparent window option. With up to 24 m² of surface area in a single bay and perfect compatibility with all Markilux pergola systems, they are the professional solution for enclosing the sides of pergolas, terraces and winter gardens in residential and hospitality projects. At Cortinsa we install both models in Barcelona and Madrid with manufacturer’s warranty and our own technical team.
No other Markilux vertical awning model offers a panoramic window option. This special, weather-resistant plastic panel allows unobstructed vision through the awning whilst maintaining solar and visual protection, and is only available with tracfix activated. It is particularly sought after on terraces and gardens with privileged views where an opaque fabric would compromise the experience of the space, and in hospitality settings where visibility from the interior to the exterior is part of the concept.
The Markilux 776/876 is the reference vertical awning for combining with all pergola systems in the Markilux catalogue: pergola with fixed columns, pergola compact, pergola stretch, syncra, construct and markant. The column-fixing brackets — for both round and square columns — are designed specifically for each system, allowing seamless integration without adaptations. This pergola + vertical awning combination is the most complete solution for outdoor spaces requiring coordinated overhead and lateral solar protection.
The choice between the Markilux 776 and the Markilux 876 is purely aesthetic: the 776 has a square cassette of 125 × 125 mm with straight, geometric lines, whilst the 876 has a round cassette of Ø 130 mm with a more organic feel. Both share exactly the same maximum dimensions, the same tracfix, panoramic window and operation options, and the same wind resistance.
At Cortinsa we install the Markilux 776 and the Markilux 876 in Barcelona, Madrid and the surrounding metropolitan area, with a technical measuring visit, made-to-measure manufacturing and installation by our own team. Request your free, no-obligation quote.
The difference is aesthetic: the Markilux 776 has a square cassette of 125 × 125 mm and the Markilux 876 has a round cassette of Ø 130 mm. Same maximum dimensions, same tracfix options, panoramic window and drive.
It is a special transparent, weather-resistant plastic panel that replaces or complements the textile fabric, allowing an unobstructed view whilst maintaining protection. Only available with tracfix activated.
Without tracfix: 400 × 600 cm / 500 × 450 cm / 550 × 400 cm / 600 × 350 cm. With tracfix: 550 × 400 cm / 600 × 350 cm. Maximum surface area of 24 m² per field.
The tracfix is optional on the Markilux 776/876. Without tracfix the standard operation is crank. With tracfix the standard operation is motor. The panoramic window is only available with tracfix.
Yes. The Markilux 776/876 is the reference vertical awning for combining with all Markilux pergola systems, with specific brackets for the round and square posts of each system.
