The highest-capacity under-glass awning in the Markilux catalogue. Up to 30 m² in a single bay with standard tracfix guidance, a completely square design with no visible screws, and wind resistance class 3. The professional solution for conservatories and large-format glazed roofs.
The Markilux 679 incorporates tracfix as standard — the continuous lateral fabric guidance system with no gap between the fabric and the guide rail. The result is greater wind resistance, a better appearance, and optimal fabric tension at any extension position, thanks to counter-tension technology with integrated gas pistons.
With a width of up to 600 cm and a projection of up to 600 cm, the Markilux 679 covers up to 30 m² in a single bay. Maximum available dimensions: 500 × 600 cm / 550 × 550 cm / 600 × 500 cm. The reference solution for conservatories and large-format glazed terraces.
The completely square design with clean lines delivers a look free of visible screws, with a minimalist treatment of technical details. Two-piece square cassette of 160 × 205 mm, square guide rails of 70 × 72 mm, and square front profile of 155 × 71 mm. Powder-coated finish to façade quality.
Optional LED-Line RGB-WW lighting in the cassette and guide rails for a fully integrated, individualised lighting ambience. The lighting is integrated into the aluminium profiles with no visible external elements, creating a high-aesthetic nocturnal effect.
Available with a manually operated integrated super-shade in the front profile for additional vertical protection. Optional 2,500 W heater with integrated 868 MHz radio receiver to extend the usable season of the glazed space during colder months.
The Markilux 679 is certified to wind resistance class 3, equivalent to Beaufort force 6 — 38–48 km/h. The highest resistance class in the catalogue, particularly suited to installations in exposed conservatories or large glazed surfaces.

The Markilux 679 tracfix is the highest-capacity under-glass awning in the Markilux catalogue. With a maximum shading area of 30 m² in a single bay and wind resistance class 3, it is the professional solution for winter gardens, glazed terrace roofs and large-format glazed surfaces where complete control of temperature and solar radiation from the interior is required. At Cortinsa we install the Markilux 679 in Barcelona and Madrid with manufacturer’s warranty and our own technical team.
An under-glass awning is installed on the interior face of a glazed roof, suspended from guide rails fixed to the structure. The fabric travels horizontally, covering the entire glazed surface from below, reducing light and radiant heat without any intervention on the exterior of the building. The Markilux 679 stands out in this category thanks to its standard tracfix guide system, which eliminates the gap between the fabric and the guide rail for a cleaner appearance and greater wind resistance, and for its ability to cover up to 30 m² in a single bay.
The completely square design of the Markilux 679, with clean lines and no visible screws, makes it the most sought-after option in contemporary architecture projects where aesthetic integration is a priority. The two-piece cassette measuring 160 × 205 mm, the square guide rails of 70 × 72 mm and the square front profile of 155 × 71 mm form a visually cohesive ensemble that integrates seamlessly into the glazed roof structure with no discordant elements.
The optional LED-Line RGB-WW lighting integrated into the cassette and guide rails of the Markilux 679 allows a lighting scheme to be created that is fully built into the aluminium profiles, with no external visible elements. Combined with the optional 2,500 W heater with integrated io radio receiver, the winter garden becomes a comfortable, liveable space throughout the year, regardless of the outside temperature.
