The straight-line glass-roof awning for medium-sized verandas and glazed living rooms. Especially compact square cassette of 125 × 125 mm, standard tracfix guidance without a gap, and wind resistance class 3. Red Dot Design Award 2017 and German Design Award Winner 2018.
The complete square cassette of the Markilux 770, at just 125 × 125 mm, is especially compact and can be integrated into any veranda or glazed roof structure. It perfectly protects the fabric when the awning is retracted and provides clean, square lines that blend harmoniously with the aesthetic of the glazed room.
The Markilux 770 incorporates tracfix as standard, the continuous lateral fabric guidance system with no gap between the fabric and the guide rail. Greater wind resistance, a better appearance, and optimum fabric tension at any extension position, thanks to counter-tension technology with integrated pneumatic springs.
With an axle-to-axle span of up to 450 cm and a projection of up to 400 cm, the Markilux 770 covers up to 16 m² in a single bay. The reference solution for medium-sized verandas and glazed living rooms in residential dwellings and hospitality projects.
The leading-edge profile of the Markilux 770 finishes completely flush with the guide rails when the awning is extended, creating a continuous surface with no protruding elements. The result is a perfect visual integration in the glazed roof whether the awning is retracted or deployed.
The sound-optimised retraction sliders of the Markilux 770 ensure smooth, quiet closing behaviour, particularly valued in installations in living rooms and habitable spaces where operational noise can be intrusive.
Available with remote-controlled io 868 MHz and RTS 433 MHz motors. Compatible with automatic sun, wind, and rain sensors for fully automatic management of solar protection according to weather conditions.

The Markilux 770 tracfix is the straight-line over-glass awning for medium-format verandas and glazed living rooms. With a square cassette of just 125 × 125 mm, standard tracfix guidance and wind resistance class 3, it is the most compact and elegant solution in the Markilux catalogue for glazed roofs of up to 16 m². At Cortinsa we install the Markilux 770 in Barcelona and Madrid with manufacturer’s warranty and our own technical team.
An over-glass awning such as the Markilux 770 places the fabric above the glazed roof, intercepting solar radiation before it passes through the glass and heats the interior space. It is the most energy-efficient solution compared with under-glass systems, as it significantly reduces heat gain before it enters the habitable space. Particularly recommended for verandas and glazed living rooms facing south or south-west, where sunlight falls directly onto the roof during the central hours of the day.
The Markilux 770 stands out for its completely square design, with a 125 × 125 mm cassette, square guide rails of 52 × 52 mm and a front profile aligned with the rails when the awning is fully extended. The result is a continuous surface with no protruding elements that integrates seamlessly into the glazed roof structure, preserving the clean, minimalist aesthetic of the space. Its collection sliders with optimised acoustics also ensure quiet operation — particularly valued in installations in living rooms and habitable spaces.
With wind resistance class 3, equivalent to Beaufort 6 — 38 to 48 km/h, the Markilux 770 tracfix is approved for installations in exposed environments. The standard tracfix guidance, which eliminates the gap between the fabric and the guide rail, contributes decisively to this wind resistance by keeping the fabric fully tensioned at any extension position.
At Cortinsa we install the Markilux 770 tracfix in Barcelona, Madrid and the surrounding metropolitan area, with a technical survey visit, made-to-measure fabrication and installation by our own team. If you have a medium-format veranda or glazed living room that requires effective solar protection, request your free, no-obligation quote.
The Markilux 770 has a square cassette of 125 × 125 mm and a straight-lined design. The Markilux 870 has a round cassette of Ø 130 mm with a circular profile that adapts particularly well to ceiling structures with curved elements. Both are glass awnings for medium-sized surfaces with the same maximum dimensions of 450 × 400 cm.
The maximum centre-to-centre measurement of the Markilux 770 is 450 cm and the maximum projection is 400 cm, with a maximum shading area of 16 m² in a single field. The minimum centre-to-centre measurement is 60 cm.
Yes. The Markilux 770 operates with a standard motor. Available with io 868 MHz and RTS 433 MHz remote-controlled motors, compatible with automatic sun, wind and rain sensors for fully automatic management of solar protection.
Cortinsa installs the Markilux 770 tracfix in Barcelona, Madrid and the surrounding metropolitan area, with a technical survey visit, bespoke manufacturing and installation by our own in-house technical team — no subcontractors.
