The Markilux 779 is the under-glass awning with a square cassette of defined lines for verandas and large-format terrace roofs. With a maximum surface area of 27 m² in a single span, an integrated super-shade and the widest range of LED lighting options in the range, it is the most complete solution for winter gardens and glazed terraces where visual comfort and aesthetics are the priority. The Markilux 779 stands out for its markedly square design, with a two-piece cassette of 125 × 125 mm and square guide rails of 52 × 52 mm that form a visual unit of defined lines. Unlike the Markilux 679, which incorporates tracfix as standard and is aimed at large professional surfaces with maximum wind resistance, the Markilux 779 offers greater configuration flexibility with optional tracfix and a wider range of lighting and drive options.
The super-shade option of the Markilux 779, available in 150 or 210 cm height depending on the design, integrates a vertical screen into the front profile that descends when the awning is extended. It is the solution for winter gardens facing west or south-west where the low afternoon sun strikes laterally through the side glazing of the structure, with no need to install a separate vertical protection system.
The Markilux 779 offers the widest range of lighting options in the under-glass range: LED-Line in the guide rails on both sides, LED-Line in the fabric support tube, LED-Spots in the support tube, LED-Spots in the cassette and LED-Line in the cassette. Each option creates a different lighting atmosphere fully integrated into the aluminium profiles. Combined with the optional heater of up to 2500 W with io radio receiver, the winter garden becomes a liveable and comfortable space throughout the year.
