The Markilux 870 tracfix is the complete over-glass awning for verandas and medium-sized glazed conservatories. With a round cassette of just Ø 130 mm, standard tracfix guidance and wind resistance class 3, it is the circular-profile alternative to the Markilux 770 for glazed roofs of up to 16 m². At Cortinsa we install the Markilux 870 in Barcelona and Madrid with manufacturer’s warranty and our own technical team.
The main difference between the Markilux 870 and the Markilux 770 is the cassette profile. Whilst the 770 has a square cassette of 125 × 125 mm with straight lines, the Markilux 870 incorporates a round cassette of Ø 130 mm that harmonises with roof structures featuring curved elements or in projects where a more organic design is sought. Both models share the same maximum dimensions, the same tracfix guidance and the same wind resistance class 3.
With wind resistance class 3, equivalent to Beaufort 6 — 38 to 48 km/h, the Markilux 870 tracfix is approved for installations in exposed environments. The standard tracfix guidance, which eliminates the gap between the fabric and the guide rail, contributes decisively to this resistance by keeping the fabric completely tensioned at any extension position.
At Cortinsa we install the Markilux 870 tracfix in Barcelona, Madrid and the surrounding metropolitan area, with a technical survey visit, made-to-measure manufacture and installation by our own team. If you have a medium-sized veranda or glazed conservatory that requires solar protection, request your free, no-obligation quote.
The main difference is the cassette profile. The Markilux 870 has a round cassette of Ø 130 mm, whilst the Markilux 770 has a square cassette of 125 × 125 mm. Both share the same maximum dimensions of 450 × 400 cm, the same standard tracfix guidance system and the same wind resistance class 3.
