The Markilux 8800 and the Markilux 7800 are the two highest-capacity systems in the over-glass range, both with a Ø 187 mm cassette and couplable up to 5 bays. The main difference lies in the mounting system and design: the 8800 features a coupling rail, cassette inspection opening and a more modern, timeless design conceived to integrate into contemporary architecture. The 7800, with slightly larger maximum dimensions, is the choice when coverage capacity takes priority over mounting system sophistication.
The silentec motor option for the Markilux 8800 delivers particularly quiet operation compared with the standard motor. It is especially relevant in conservatories integrated into residential homes or workspaces where the awning is operated several times a day. Compatible with io and RTS radio receivers for remote control and automatic weather sensors.
