Over the past few weeks, we have had the pleasure of furnishing an entire detached house with interior and exterior textiles. We are going to show you the different solutions we have devised and implemented for each area of the house.
We will go through each room, explaining which textile elements we chose to use. We will explain why we opted for this type of curtain, including the choice of colour. Above all, we always follow our client’s guidelines and tastes, providing the best solutions to bring us as close as possible to their vision.
INTERIOR CURTAIN DECORATION
LIVING ROOM DECOR
First of all, we have decorated the living room by combining traditional sheer curtains with traditional, more opaque decorative curtains to allow us to adjust the light depending on the time of day.
In addition to having ZIP-guided curtains on the outside to:
- Improve visibility
- Control the light
- Adjust the lighting
- Maintain privacy.
The client wanted the interior décor to complement the furniture and features they already had in their home.
As you can see in the image below, for the living room décor we have chosen a shade of grey to harmonise the curtains with the existing furniture.

BEDROOM DECOR
Next, in the bedrooms, we wanted to maintain consistency in the curtain style. In this case, we opted for roller blinds, which are easy to wash, using different colours to suit the rooms and varying degrees of openness to improve the lighting in each one depending on their orientation and the part of the façade they face. By using white screen fabrics, we have managed to improve the lighting, complementing these with black screen fabrics to soften the light inside the room.
MASTER BEDROOM DECOR
In the master bedroom, we wanted to soften the light as we have sunlight for most of the day. To achieve this desired effect, we decided to use a dark screen fabric
. Thanks to this fabric, we can always adjust the amount of sunlight
coming through the windows and adapt it to our needs.

MINIMALIST BEDROOM DECOR
For a more minimalist
bedroom décor, we opted for a white screen
fabric, which improves the amount of sunlight entering the room whilst perfectly complementing the colour of the existing furniture that the client had already in place. Thanks to this screen, we have achieved a brighter and cleaner space.

CHILDREN’S BEDROOM DECOR
For the children’s
bedroom
décor, we wanted to add a more personal touch to the curtain. We achieved this personalisation by applying a digital print to the screen fabric. The print design was chosen by the client.

DECORATION OF THE DARK BEDROOM
For this third and final room, we wanted to create a harmonious colour scheme with a greater emphasis on dark colours. We therefore continued with the darker shades of grey, incorporating a roller blind made from black screen fabric. This also allows us to play with the amount of light entering the room, as in one of the previous rooms. We know that dark colours are more difficult to work with, but both we and the client are very happy with the result.

EXTERIOR DECORATION WITH AWNINGS AND PARASOLS
First of all, we installed ZIP-guided curtains with grey screen fabric for the living room. These curtains help to filter the sunlight during the day when it shines directly into the home, causing glare that makes it difficult to see the TV screen or, for us, when the light shines directly into our faces.
For the upper terrace, we have combined vertical awnings with a cable guide and handcrafted awnings made from an iron frame. In both cases, we have used a black outdoor screen fabric – one of the most highly recommended options. We have achieved a significant improvement in temperature, as this fabric absorbs heat, creating a less stifling environment.

GARDEN DECORATION
For the garden area, we have combined a parasol in the same shade as the upper awnings—an anthracite tone—to achieve a more comfortable ambient temperature in this area as well. This parasol is by Glatz, a Swiss manufacturer that produces parasols up to 7 metres by 7 metres. The one we are showing you and have used measures just 3.5 m x 3.5 m.
