A large 16-metre awning: a work of art in interior design
Today we bring you a blog post featuring a work of art in the form of a large awning. We have completed a project for a single-piece awning measuring 16 metres wide by 3.5 metres in projection. Not everyone can build this type of structure and offer guarantees.
Cortinsa, in partnership with Markilux, can.

This project began with the idea of covering the terrace of the bar/café to enhance the customer experience there. Initially, the option of installing three individual awnings to cover the area was considered. However, one of the most favoured options was to create a single, seamless structure without any disruptive elements, such as fabric seams between awnings, whilst exposed to full sunlight.

Thanks to MARKILUX, the best awning manufacturer in Europe today – and arguably the world – we have managed to create this masterpiece in the world of awnings.
A 16-metre-wide awning in a single piece that brings together all the technology and technical expertise required for its manufacture and ensures it operates without any issues whatsoever. Of course, we must bear in mind that this awning is operated by a radio-controlled motor and is fitted with wind sensors for optimal performance and long-lasting durability.

The awning model is the Markilux 1700 invisible-arm awning.
