Screen roller blinds for a detached house
Complete screen roller blind installation for a detached house in Castelldefels.
As it is such an open-plan and minimalist space, we wanted to maintain the design with motorised roller blinds throughout the ground floor of the house.
As you can see from the images, this home features very large windows and a minimalist décor. For these reasons, we opted for pearl white screen roller blinds. These blinds bring simplicity and sun protection to the home.
As there are few times when the sun shines directly through the windows, we chose light colours to create a sense of space and brightness in the room.
In all cases, we have motorised the blinds for better performance and convenience for the client. This incorporates a home automation system that can be controlled using a remote control or via an app on a mobile phone or tablet.
SCREEN technical fabric
As you know from other posts, screen fabric
is made of PVC-coated fibreglass.
It is a state-of-the-art fabric that acts as sun protection.
With different weave patterns and colours, we can achieve either complete opacity, light filtering, or perfect lighting for windows with little direct sunlight. This fabric provides thermal protection
, helping to maintain a stable temperature in the home throughout the day.
Thanks to the different opening factors
, ranging from 0% to 10%
, we can adjust the amount of light entering the room. This allows us to optimise the living space depending on its location.
For living rooms with direct sunlight
, it is preferable to use dark colours
to filter the
light and an opening factor of between 1% and 5%
.
For living rooms without direct sunlight
, light colours
with an opening factor of 5% or 10%
are perfectly suitable.
