This week, we’ve been at the Construmat trade fair alongside Lupak Metal, presenting and showcasing their products.
During the event, many people asked us why they should use stackable blinds instead of the conventional blinds we are used to.
That is why we have decided to write this post to address the most frequently asked questions, in order to help and advise, as far as possible, anyone interested in stackable blinds with adjustable slats.
What are stackable blinds?
Stacking blinds are blinds made up of adjustable slats that we can move as we please.
Thanks to the movement of these slats, we can control the amount of air and sunlight we want to let inside. As we do not have to raise the blind to its highest position, as is the case with conventional blinds, we can achieve this control over sunlight and wind without compromising our privacy.
This helps to save energy that might otherwise be wasted by opening windows or having poor ventilation in the home.
Another major advantage of stackable blinds is that they do not require a large box to conceal the blind. When raising and lowering the blind, the slats stack together, taking up very little space. Approximately 15cm wide by 30cm high, though this will always depend on the size of the window.
The fact that no box is required also makes installation quicker and easier. This can be considered another major advantage if we wish to avoid more costly building work that creates a lot of dust. In this case, we can implement this type of solution with virtually no alterations to the structure.
What stackable blinds does Cortinsa offer?
Thanks to Lupak Metal, Cortinsa offers a wide range of different models to suit our customers’ needs.
One of the differences between the various models is the design and positioning of the guides. In any case, these guides are equally functional and durable.
Like all blinds, stackable blinds can also be motorised. Adding a motor to your blind will provide greater convenience and, above all, improve the product’s durability.
