Unlike any conventional blind, the Inverter System is anchored to the floor. Tension springs installed at the top cause the fabric to rise perfectly straight from floor to ceiling, creating a privacy screen that blocks street-level views without covering the upper section of the window or obstructing natural light.
The Inverter blind with tension springs was created and patented by Cortinsa. No other manufacturer produces it. The tension cable is completely concealed inside the system and the terminal is not visible from the outside.
With a maximum width of 700 cm and a maximum projection of 700 cm, the Inverter System meets the demands of large-format windows in offices, hotels, and designer residences. Motor-operated only. Optional concealment via a service-access cassette compatible with any blind height and all fabric types.

The same Inverter technology adapted for angled glazing. Patented by Cortinsa. Privacy without sacrificing natural light in geometries that no other system can accommodate.
The Triangular Inverter System resolves one of the most common challenges in contemporary residential and corporate architecture: angled or irregularly shaped windows where conventional blinds cannot be installed. The fabric rises from floor to ceiling via a central tension-spring system, adapting to the shape of the window with an impeccable technical and aesthetic result.
The Triangular variant incorporates an 80 mm reinforced axle — more robust than that of the standard model — to accommodate the greater structural complexity of this type of installation. The maximum width is 500 cm and the maximum projection is 300 cm, with 2 tension springs in all cases.

In contemporary architecture, large glazed windows are one of the most highly valued elements in both new-build residential projects and office and hotel refurbishment schemes. However, most blinds for large windows present a structural problem: as they lower from the ceiling, they block the upper section of the glazing first, cutting out natural light and views before providing any privacy at street level. The Cortinsa Inverter System reverses this logic entirely. By rising from the floor, it creates a privacy screen exactly where it is needed — at eye level from outside — whilst always keeping the upper section of the window free for natural light to enter. This behaviour makes it the preferred solution for hotel receptions, open-plan office floors and residential living rooms with large glazed surfaces where privacy and luminosity must coexist. You can view the rest of our bespoke blind systems to compare the different solutions available.
The heart of the Inverter System with tension springs is a mechanism developed entirely by Cortinsa and protected by patent. The fabric is anchored to the floor via a fixing profile and rises thanks to the tension exerted by springs installed at ceiling or wall level, with the tension cable completely concealed within the system. The result is a bespoke motorised blind with a completely clean appearance — no visible cables, no exposed mechanisms and no element that distracts from the design of the space. The reinforced 50 mm roller of the standard model allows widths of up to 700 cm to be covered in a single piece, eliminating the need for multiple installations across large-format continuous windows. For projects requiring detailed technical specifications, all installation data is available in our Cortinsa BIM Library.
The Inverter Triangular variant extends the technology of the standard system to windows with angular geometry, one of the most common cases in contemporary residential architecture and in refurbishment projects for distinctive buildings. A conventional blind for angular windows cannot adapt to this type of geometry without compromising the aesthetic result or the functionality of the system. The Inverter Triangular, with its reinforced 80 mm roller and its central dual tension-spring system, resolves the problem in a definitive technical manner. Available with Black Out fabrics for complete blackout — an option not available on the standard model — screen in three densities and high-performance Soltis technical fabrics. Maximum width of 500 cm and maximum projection of 300 cm. Like the standard model, the patented Inverter Triangular blind is an exclusive Cortinsa product with no equivalent on the market.
The privacy blind for offices is one of the most frequent uses of the Inverter System in corporate projects. In open-plan floors with glazed façades, the system allows the privacy of each work area to be managed independently, without any intervention in the building structure and with impeccable architectural integration. In the hotel sector, the hotel blind with privacy offered by the Inverter System is particularly valued in rooms overlooking communal areas or the street, where night-time privacy is essential but the sense of visual spaciousness during the day must not be lost. In high-end residential properties, the Inverter is typically installed in double-height living rooms, bedrooms with external windows and home working spaces where privacy from the outside is an increasing requirement. Cortinsa carries out the installation of the bespoke Inverter System in Barcelona and Madrid, with a prior technical visit, personalised advice on fabric and configuration, and fitting by specialist in-house technicians. The standard model reaches a maximum width of 700 cm and a maximum projection of 700 cm. The Inverter Triangular model reaches 500 cm wide and 300 cm projection. Both are made to measure to fit the exact dimensions of each window.
Yes. The tension springs are installed on the ceiling or wall using an interior bracket system that requires no building work. The accessible cassette option is also installed without any structural intervention. Our team carries out a prior technical visit to validate the feasibility of installation in each space.
