The Pratic Carrera is the first bioclimatic pergola on the market with bidirectional stackable louvres: the blades alternate between fixed and movable, with the movable blades rising and sliding to the right or left, stacking over the fixed ones in a fully automated motion. The result is an alternation of light and shade that precisely and naturally regulates the temperature, ventilation, and light levels of the space. Available in two versions: Carrera P, with 15 × 15 cm posts and full compatibility with Raso vertical awnings and the Connect system, and Carrera S, with 10 × 15 cm posts of a slimmer profile for residential installations where minimalist design is the priority.
The Carrera is the only bioclimatic pergola with a roof system in which the louvres do not rotate but instead travel. The movable blades rise and stack over the fixed ones in a bidirectional movement, allowing a transition from full cover to complete open sky in a single motorised action. The 17 cm gap between fixed louvres guarantees constant natural ventilation even at maximum shade.
The freestanding or wall-mounted structure allows several modules to be flanked together to cover large terraces and HORECA spaces. The Carrera P also supports the installation of shelving and suspended elements directly on the roof structure — a unique feature that positions it as the reference solution for contract projects and high-end hospitality spaces.
The Carrera P model integrates retractable Raso vertical awnings within its main beam for privacy and lateral protection, and is compatible with the Connect system — Pratic’s mirrored or smoked glass enclosure that transforms the pergola into a fully enclosed, climate-controlled space. The Carrera S is not compatible with Raso or Connect.

The Pratic Carrera bioclimatic pergola is the only system on the market that combines fixed and stackable mobile louvres within a single roof structure. Unlike bioclimatic pergolas with orientable louvres, where the blades rotate on their axis, the Carrera uses a bidirectional mechanism in which the mobile louvres rise and travel by stacking over the fixed ones. The result is a progressive, natural shading system with no exposed technical elements, regulating temperature, ventilation and light entry on any type of terrace or outdoor space. The stackable louvre mechanism of the Pratic Carrera is an exclusive patent of the Italian manufacturer. The blades alternate between fixed and mobile along the load-bearing profile: the fixed ones remain in position and form the base of the roof, whilst the mobile ones rise and slide over them with a 17 cm clear gap between louvres that guarantees constant natural ventilation. Both share the same bidirectional stackable louvre mechanism, the same width dimensions and the same motorisation and home-automation capabilities.
Yes. With the slats in the closed position, the drainage system integrated into the posts channels light rain to the outside. For optimum protection against heavy rain, it is recommended to combine the Carrera with the Connect lateral enclosure system (available for the Carrera P only) or with Glass Series glazing.
