The Pratic Tecnic cover uses a guide profile of just 5×10 cm, the most discreet in the Pratic cover range. The clean lines and absence of intermediate uprights make the Tecnic the solution for spaces where architectural integration and visual discretion are a priority. The PVC canvas slides along the aluminium guides and packs away into a compact space when not in use.
The Pratic Tecnic is installed directly between walls or into existing openings without the need for an independent load-bearing structure. Compatible with various configurations adapted to the geometry of each space, with integrated lateral water drainage. Particularly suited to building terraces, galleries, and semi-covered spaces where a low-profile covering solution is required.
The patented anti-drip system prevents water infiltration at the junction points between the canvas and the guides during rain. The structure finish with Qualicoat Seaside Class 2 certification guarantees maximum corrosion resistance in coastal and urban environments. Patented design and Made in Italy manufacturing.
Available with manual or motorised operation. Supports integrated LED Line lighting in bay dividers in white or RGB versions. Compatible with app-based and voice-command home automation for personalised scenarios, and with rain, wind and light sensors for full automation.

The Pratic Tecnic exterior roof is a sliding PVC roof cover with a minimal profile, designed for installation between walls or in existing openings without intermediate uprights. Its defining feature is the 5×10 cm guide profile, the most discreet in the range, compared with the 10×16 cm of the Pratic One. This difference results in greater architectural integration and a more restrained visual line, suited to projects where design is the primary criterion. The maximum depth of the Tecnic is 800 cm on the P side and 550 cm on the L side, compared with 900 cm on both sides for the One. The sliding PVC canvas glides along aluminium guides and packs away into a compact space, allowing the area to be enjoyed open when conditions permit. The manufacturer describes the Tecnic with the tagline “style meets technique”, underscoring the balance between technical performance and aesthetic intent.
The Pratic Tecnic is installed directly into existing openings and pre-existing structures without the need to construct an independent load-bearing structure. The integrated lateral drainage system manages rainfall without requiring additional guttering. This ease of installation makes it a frequent choice for terrace refurbishments in residential buildings, glazed galleries, and corporate spaces where minimising building works is a requirement. For projects requiring greater climatic versatility with adjustable louvres, bioclimatic pergolas are the most common alternative.
The Pratic Tecnic sliding PVC roof cover allows the level of shading to be adjusted precisely by stopping it at any intermediate position. When installed alongside glazed surfaces, it helps reduce interior air-conditioning energy consumption by limiting direct solar incidence. The patented anti-drip system ensures watertightness during rain, and the Qualicoat Seaside Class 2 lacquering guarantees finish durability in coastal and urban environments. The integrated LED Line lighting in the bay dividers extends use of the outdoor space into evening hours with minimal energy consumption.
As official Pratic installers in Barcelona and Madrid, Cortinsa provides guidance on selecting the most appropriate fabric according to the orientation and solar exposure of the space, the required level of motorisation and home automation, and the fixing system compatible with the existing structure. The Pratic Tecnic roof cover is frequently specified in hospitality, corporate, and luxury residential projects where profile discretion and build quality are decisive factors. For projects combining the roof cover with lateral protection, the Cortinsa team coordinates the integrated exterior sun-protection solution. Visit our exterior shade section for further information.
The Pratic Tecnic is particularly suited to terraces on buildings, galleries, corporate spaces and hospitality projects where a low-visual-profile cover with maximum architectural integration is required. Its 5×10 cm guide profile makes it the most discreet in the Pratic cover range. Source: official website pratic.it/es/producto/tecnic/.
