The largest-diameter circular cassette profile in the textile range fully protects the fabric when retracted. Its two-piece design allows easy access for maintenance without the need to dismantle the structure.
The tracfix system ensures that the fabric is guided continuously along both lateral tracks with no opening between the fabric and the guide profile. Result: total lateral weatherproofing and uniform tensioning at any projection position.
A single individual awning covers up to 30 m² with maximum dimensions of 500 × 600 cm. The structure accommodates up to 5 coupled bays, exceeding 1,500 cm of continuous length for large-scale terraces and communal areas.
Certified to withstand Beaufort scale wind force 6 (38–48 km/h). The optional folding columns reduce the minimum drainage inclination to 7°, enabling near-horizontal installations with perfect water run-off.

The main difference lies in the cassette profile: the classic has a two-piece round cassette of Ø 187 mm, whilst the cubic has a square cassette of 160 × 200 mm. Visually, the classic offers a more rounded, architecturally traditional finish; the cubic presents more rectilinear, contemporary lines. In terms of dimensions and wind resistance, both share the same maximum capacity (up to 600 × 600 cm with 5 coupled bays and wind class 3), although the classic allows a slightly smaller minimum projection (67 cm versus 73 cm for the cubic). Both incorporate tracfix as standard.
Yes, with the correct installation conditions. The pearl and pearl FR canvases are waterproof as standard and are specifically designed for use in rain. With tilting columns, the minimum drainage slope is reduced to 7°, ensuring water runs off freely even in near-horizontal configurations. With fixed columns, the minimum slope is 14°. The canvas should not be used as a permanent structure under snow, although the slope and fabric can handle moderate rainfall. Cortinsa verifies the installation pitch during fitting to ensure correct drainage.
The classic’s housing can be fixed directly to the wall, ceiling or rafters using Markilux-specific brackets, with no need for front columns. However, for projections exceeding 250 cm or systems with a super-shade, it is advisable to incorporate front columns to ensure stability and uniform fabric tension. In all cases, the modular design allows the solution to be adapted to the typology of each space.
Yes. The markilux pergola classic is compatible as standard with the markilux 876 tracfix and markilux 776 tracfix vertical awnings on the sides, and with the markilux 790 side awning at the front. This combination makes it possible to create an outdoor space enclosed on three or four sides, with full control over light entry and lateral wind. It is a common configuration in HORECA projects and high-end residential terraces. It is also compatible with the markilux syncra system and markilux construct supports.
