At the Hospital Universitari Vall d’Hebron, an iron pergola was installed on an interior terrace of the site, with the aim of creating a more comfortable space for hospital use.
The structure features a shade net cover, which provides effective solar protection and improves the thermal and lighting conditions of the surroundings. This solution enables the outdoor space to be used throughout the year, contributing to the well-being of users.
In addition, planter-type supports with a timber cover were incorporated, which not only enhance the overall aesthetic but also allow the pergola to be repositioned without the need to anchor it to the floor. This provides a self-supporting and versatile structure, ideally suited to adapting to varying needs and seasons throughout the year.
